Saw this today and thought, “Yes! That’s the light I want to be.”
If I’m called to be a light in the world—what a beautiful, high calling—why not be this sort of light, a magnificently out of place one, an unexpected luxury?
I don’t want to be a standard aluminum-poled street light.
And I don’t want to be a chandelier in a perfectly appointed hall.
I want to be a chandelier in a parking lot.
